The Liturgy of the Hours is a source of devotion and nourishment for personal prayer. From ancient times the people of God have had the custom of celebrating prayers of praise and thanksgiving and in this way fulfilled the Gospel precept ‘to pray without ceasing’.The Liturgy of the Hours is a means of sanctifying the day and can be used for Retreats, Seminars, The School and other gatherings.

A world community of thousands of Christians continue to honour and give thanks to John Main for his rediscovery and teaching of Christian meditation. Through the daily discipline of the mantra, we experience that silence, stillness and simplicity will lead to our own centre, to our own heart, to the Spirit fo God within each of us.
The legacy of John Main's teachings through his many letters, books, CD's and tapes, encouages and unspires us. We are continually reminded that meditation is an experience, a journey, a way of life.
This resource is comprised of two of John Main's favorite Psalms, 139 and 46, scripture passages, reflections and quotes from his various writings. These Prayers may be used to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his death and for future occasions.
